About Us

  • Philippe

    A California adoptive son and Silicon Valley tech practitioner, Philippe started as a journalist and educator in the Champagne area and Paris before moving to the US to ride the tech innovation wave. Before engaging in a 20-year career as a digital marketing executive in large and small technology companies, Philippe co-founded in 1998 Paris For Rent and Paris Luxury Rentals which eventually came under the umbrella of World Guests Abroad with the acquisition of Haven In, opening inroads to new destinations. Philippe oversees all aspects of strategy, business development, partnerships, digital marketing, and technology. He divides his time between Cape Cod, Paris, and Southern France to support established vacation markets and explore new destination opportunities.

  • Patrick

    Patrick was born and raised in Paris and later moved to San Francisco after completing his college education, just in time to witness the rapid growth of the internet revolution. With an extensive experience in vacation rentals, Patrick has become an expert in customer service and property management. He is also passionate about urbanism, travel, sustainability, food, and wellness. In his free time, he enjoys exploring new places and local cuisines, often inspired by the late Anthony Bourdain. Patrick's ideal vacation involves renting a flat in a new city and immersing himself in the local culture with his family. He believes that travel is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow, and he strives to make guests' experiences unforgettable.

  • Pat

    Born in Paris to French parents avid for art, science and culture, Pat spent much of her childhood and teenage years roaming the city for art exhibits, performance shows, unique shops and antique finds, and of course for food. She moved to the US, got a BA in international relations and settled in San Francisco, California where she owned a French bistro for 7 years. Pat is now in charge of sales. An avid sailor and lover of the sea, she has been raising a family on Maui, Hawaii for the last 5 years. Her ties to France and Paris remain very strong and she returns there at least once a year.

    A French native, Emeline started her family in San Francisco, where she has lived for the past 20 years. She loves California for its rich natural landscapes, cultural diversity, and international community, where she engages in her passions for art and wellness. Emeline’s connection to the company began in 2007 when she first joined the sales team. Though she loves discovering new places around the world, she returns to Paris every year, her hometown, to explore new properties and enjoy her favorite city. Her deep understanding of what guests desire ensures a smooth booking experience, allowing visitors to create lasting memories in Paris.

    Born in Seoul and raised in France, Sang Ae lived in San Francisco for 20 years before returning to her roots in Lyon, France. Her diverse background includes working as a front-of-house manager in various French restaurants and owning a catering and event planning company, where she combined her passion for cooking with eco-conscious event design. Her love for food and wine often inspires her travels, alongside a deep appreciation for live events and theater. With her professional expertise and warm personality, Sang Ae is dedicated to providing exceptional service, always being responsive, knowledgeable, and kind to her clients.

    Born and raised in San Francisco to European parents, Maxine grew up immersed in French culture, which sparked her lifelong passion for travel. With countless trips between France and the United States, she has developed a deep love for discovering new places and sharing that excitement with others. As a dedicated travel agent, Maxine is thrilled to help guests create unforgettable memories, offering her best tips for Paris. Her dedication and passion ensure that every guest's journey is seamless and memorable.

    Born and raised in Paris, Coco spent many years embracing the vibrant lifestyle of the City of Love, exploring various arrondissements and uncovering new spots. Her love for exploration took her to Australia before she moved to the United States seven years ago. Since then, she has extensively traveled across the country, experiencing its diverse landscapes and adventures, before settling on the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii. With over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Coco brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for creating meaningful and genuine connections with people. A passionate traveler and advocate for rescue dogs, she spends her free time caring for animals.
